Do I need an appointment?

Tattoos: Appointments are recommended for custom work or if you want a specific artist.
Piercings & Small Tattoos: Walk-ins are welcome and handled on a first-come, first-served basis.

How should I prepare for my tattoo or piercing?

Eat a solid meal beforehand

Stay hydrated

Avoid alcohol or blood thinners 24 hours prior

Wear comfortable clothing that allows easy access to the area

Bring a valid photo ID
(Must be 18+ for tattoos and most piercings)

What is your minimum tattoo price?

Our shop minimum starts at $80. Final pricing depends on size, detail, placement, style, and artist.
Quotes are provided after reviewing your idea.

How old do I need to be for a tattoo or piercing?

Tattoos: You must be 18 years or older with a valid photo ID — no exceptions.
Piercings: Minors may be pierced with a parent or legal guardian present and proper documentation.

Call ahead for specific age or piercing questions.

Can I get a tattoo if it’s my first time?

Yes — many of our clients are first-timers. Our artists take time to explain the process, placement, pain level, and aftercare so you feel confident before we begin. Let us know it’s your first tattoo when booking.

What jewelry do you use for piercings?

We use surgical stainless-steel grade for all standard piercings. Upgrades to titanium or gold are available on request.

Is Aura Tattoo Studios clean and licensed?

Yes. We follow all Texas Health Department regulations. All needles and tools are sterile, single-use, and disposed of after every client. Cleanliness and safety are a top priority.

Do you offer tattoo cover-ups?

Yes. Our artists specialize in custom tattoo cover-ups.

What’s your cancellation policy?
